Why do the Franciscans of St. John the Baptist Province need charitable bequests?
The Province is responsible for meeting the fundamental needs of its members and its ministries. Among those needs are:
- Caring for retired and infirm Franciscans
- Training and educating Franciscan priests and brothers
- Supporting the work of Franciscans among the poor at home and abroad
- Encouraging new ministries
If you want your bequest to go directly to one or more of the Province’s family of ministries, you may designate specific ministries. You may also entrust your bequest to the Province, allowing it to choose the greatest need at the time your bequest is received.
